Haripura is a small village of 957 hectares in Ratangarh Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Haripura depends on TARANAGAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Haripura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Canal. Haripura's pin code is 331022[4], and village code is 00573800. The area of Haripura is segregated as 798.29 hectares unirrigated, the 121.71 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 37.26 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of TARANAGAR and Churu to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
