Haripura is a small village of 1136 hectares in Niwai Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Haripura depends on Malpura, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Haripura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Haripura's pin code is 304022[4], and village code is 02603100. The area of Haripura is segregated as 389.36 hectares irrigated area, 513.77 hectares unirrigated, the 115.22 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 117.47 hectare area not available for cultivation.
