Hari Nagar is a small village of 285 hectares in Shergarh Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Hari Nagar depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Hari Nagar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Hari Nagar's pin code is 342001[4], and village code is 01991300. The area of Hari Nagar is segregated as 276 hectares unirrigated, the 3 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 6 hectare area not available for cultivation.
