Hari Chandana Dasari(born 1980) is an Indian Administrative Service officer of 2010 batch belonging to Telangana state cader.[1]She previusly appointed as zonal commissioner, Serilingampally, GHMC.[2] She is the current Director of Municipal Administration and State Nodal Officer, Prajavani.[3]

Early Life and Education

Hari Chandana graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Political Science and Public Administration from St. Ann's College, Hyderabad. She went on to earn a Master's degree in Political Science from the University of Hyderabad as well as a MSc degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science.[4]

Civil Service Career

After qualifying for the prestigious Indian Administrative Service (IAS) in 2010, Chandana was allotted the Telangana state cadre. Her posts over her civil service career include:

  • 2012-2014: Sub-Divisional Magistrate
  • 2014-2020: Zonal Commissioner, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation
  • 2020-2022: District Collector and Magistrate of Narayanpet district[5]
  • 2023-2023: Food Safety Commissioner of Telangana state; Director of AYUSH Telangana[6]
  • ⁠2023-present: Director of Municipal Administration and State Nodal Officer, Prajavani.

Innovations and Leadership

Hari Chandana is recognised for her innovative citizen-centric governance projects. Some of her flagship initiatives include:
