Hardiya is a small village of 661 hectares in Khetri Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Hardiya depends on NEEM KA THANA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 137.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Hardiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Hardiya's pin code is 332716[4], and village code is 00735600. The area of Hardiya is segregated as 137 hectares irrigated area, 370 hectares unirrigated, the 63 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 91 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Hardiya is a census village in the district of Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2483 and has total administration over 462 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of NEEM KA THANA and Jhunjhunu to sell ghee and make their living.
