Harautha is a small village of 729 hectares in Iglas Tehsil in Aligarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Harautha depends on Iglas (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Harautha's pin code is 202124[4], and village code is 01396500. The area of Harautha is segregated as 677 hectares irrigated area, remaining 51 hectare area not available for cultivation.
