Heppy Rismanda Hendranata or better known as Happy Asmara (born in Kediri Regency, July 10, 1999) is an Indonesian singer and songwriter of dangdut songs. Most of the song he wrote used Javanese lyric. The song "Tak Ikhlasno" became one of his most popular works. His name is getting known thanks to the song "Dalan Liyane".[1][2].
Background
When he was 10 years old, Happy Asmara was chosen to be a model for a magazine. As time went on, Happy Asmara's other talents in the field of singing began to show. He started training his vocals since he was in junior high school.
Happy had his career as a vocalist for an indie band in Kediri. Participation in the band began when Happy was still in junior high school. As a band member, Happy often participates in festivals. He has appeared from stage to stage. In fact, when he was still the vocalist of the band, Happy busking from one village to another, even busking became his daily routine before he became famous as it is today.
Happy said that if he really liked pop genre songs, it was just that because of his economic needs he then chose to swerve and become a dangdut singer. His dream is that apart from becoming a singer, Happy also wants to become a teacher. He has received an undergraduate education majoring in "Primary School Teacher Education" at the Open University in Kediri Regency.
Happy has created many songs, some were created by Happy himself, some were created by Happy with his friends, his first song was titled "Salah", all the songs written were performed by Happy himself, and the songs became booming and even trending on YouTube. His choice to sing dangdut made him even more known and popular, and every time he released a single, his videos were always trending on YouTube. Because of that Happy Asmara is dubbed the "Queen of Trending" in Indonesia.
