Hapasar is a small village of 1713 hectares in Shergarh Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Hapasar depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Hapasar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Hapasar's pin code is 342025[4], and village code is 01979400. The area of Hapasar is segregated as 5 hectares irrigated area, 1472 hectares unirrigated, the 212 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 24 hectare area not available for cultivation.
