Hanspur Kalan is a small village of 152 hectares in Kotkasim Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Hanspur Kalan depends on KHAIRTHAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Hanspur Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Hanspur Kalan's pin code is 301403[4], and village code is 00796800. The area of Hanspur Kalan is segregated as 95 hectares irrigated area, 39 hectares unirrigated, remaining 18 hectare area not available for cultivation.
