Hanseran is a small village of 1639 hectares in Lunkaransar Tehsil in Bikaner district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Hanseran depends on BIKANER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Hanseran is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Hanseran's pin code is 334603[4], and village code is 00517400. The area of Hanseran is segregated as 1393.43 hectares unirrigated, the 60.15 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 185.62 hectare area not available for cultivation.
