Hansasari is a small village of 892 hectares in Jhunjhunu Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Hansasari depends on Jhunjhunu, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, which is 307.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Hansasari is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Hansasari's pin code is 333011[4], and village code is 00678800. The area of Hansasari is segregated as 343 hectares irrigated area, 440 hectares unirrigated, the 93 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 16 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jhunjhunu to sell earthen pot and make their living.
