Hanotiya Dharoniya is a small village of 317 hectares in Pirawa Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Hanotiya Dharoniya depends on Pirawa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 88.95% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Hanotiya Dharoniya is also surrounded by Two lakes. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Pirawa and Jhalawar to sell ghee and make their living.
