Hanne Rivrud (born 30. April 1982 in Oslo) is a Norwegian artist working mainly with moving image/video installation. She earned a bachelor's degree in fine arts from Oslo National Academy of the Arts in 2006..[1] and was an artist-in-residence at Universität der Künste Berlin in 2005-06 [2].

Her work is in the collection of the National Museum of Norway [3], and has been exhibited internationally including 2007 Venice Biennale (IT) [4]; New York Art Book Fair, PS1 MOMA (US) [5]; Ars Electronica, Linz (AT) [6]; National Art Exhibition, Kunstnernes Hus, Oslo (NO)[7]

Rivrud has also made music videos and co-hosted the tv-show “Alle Norges Hemmeligheter” together with Stein Johan Grieg Halvorsen and Erlend Klarholm Nilsen, known as the duo Erlend & Steinjo[8]
