Hannah Keane Hannah Elizabeth Keane (born May 7, 1993)[1] is an American professional soccer player. She currently plays for Sporting Club de Huelva in the Spanish Primera Iberdrola League.[2]

Life

Keane attended St. Francis High School (Sacramento, California) for two years and then transferred to C. K. McClatchy High School for her junior and senior years of high school. She earned a bachelor of science degree in Health Communications from San Diego State University.[3]

Career

As a player

Keane began her career as a competitive player for Sacramento United FC, River City United, San Juan and Cal Rush.[4] At Cal Rush she helped her team win the Championship match at the Cal Cup. As a sophmore at St Francis she helped the team win the California State Championship in 2009.[5] In high school Keane scored at total of 119 goals.[6][7]

In 2011, she continued her career with the Aztecs, San Diego State University's athletic team, where Keane had five goals and ten assists in 19 games in her inaugural NCAA Division 1 season.[8] [9] In her second season, she scored seven goals and had seven assists.[10] In her third and penultimate year with the Aztecs, she scored 12 goals in 22 games and provided four more assists.[11] During the 2014 summer break, she played for the San Diego SeaLions in the Women's Premier Soccer League where she scored nine times in five games.[12] Keane scored five goals in 21 games in her senior year and provided five more assists.[13]. She was able to score 29 goals in her university days for SDSU, which meant fifth place in Aztec history. [14] In 2016, after graduation from SDSU, Keane signed with National Premier Leagues Victoria Women team Alamein.[15] She returned to the United States in early June 2017 and joined the Boston Breakers [16] reserves in the Women's Premier Soccer League.

On July 17, 2017, she signed in Germany for Frauen-Bundesliga club FF USV Jena, where she made her debut on September 9, 2017 against SV Werder Bremen after coming on for Jessica King in the 66th minute.[17] In addition to five games in the Frauen-Bundesliga, Keane played in 15 games in Jena’s second team in the Bundesliga North and was Jena's top scorer. [18] On August 21, 2018, around 2 months after her departure from Jena, Keane signed in Portugal with S.C. Braga (women).[19][20]

After three seasons with S.C. Braga (women) Keane signed with Sporting de Huelva in the Spanish Primera Iberdrola League.[21]
