Hamza Sohail, born to Pakistani theatre actor and comedy legend Sohail Ahmad is an emerging actor in the Pakistani drama industry. He has appeared in several drama serials and is known for his roles in Fairytale, Raqeeb se and Badshah Begum.

Early Life

Hamza Sohail is a Lahori Punjabi and received his early education from the Beaconhouse School System. Afterward, he was sent abroad where he completed his undergraduate and Post-Graduate degrees.[1] He has one younger brother. Hamza in an interview with Fuchsia magazine said that his father never wanted him to become an actor and instead wanted him to be a civil servant.[2]

Career:

Hamza made his debut in the 2021 drama Raqeeb se as Abdul[3] and worked alongside Faryaal Mehmood, Nauman Ijaz, Sania Saeed and Hadiqa Kiani. He then worked in Mein Hari Piya (2021) as Saud. His web series debut was in the series Mrs. and Mr. Shameem where he played the adult son of the main leads Saba Qamar and Nauman Ijaz. In the same year he appeared in Badshah Begum and worked alongside actors such as Farhan Saeed, Komal Mir and Saman Ansari. He then appeared as Farjaad Khan Bahadur in the 2023 Ramadan Romantic Comedy Fairytale, which proved to be his breakout role. He worked alongside Sehar Khan and the serial is set to return for its season two.[4]
