Hada is a small village of 465 hectares in Jaisalmer Tehsil in Jaisalmer district, nicknamed ""The Golden city"" in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Hada depends on JAISALMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Hada is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Hada's pin code is 345022[4], and village code is 02015500. The area of Hada is segregated as 187 hectares irrigated area, 142 hectares unirrigated, the 94 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 42 hectare area not available for cultivation.
