Hüseyin Sönmez is a multidisciplinary art director and humorist. He graduated from Akdeniz University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Graphic Arts. After graduation, he have worked on packaging design for 3 years at an intense pace. In the following years, ventured into a wide range of other design fields.

Design career

In 2009, he founded the playful product design brand called "Geyik Adam".[1] With "Geyik Adam", he aimed to combine entertainment and design. During this time, he also designed fun products for festivals and was invited to Miller Freshtival.[2]

In 2012, he designed a CD packaging for Can Bonomo's[3] Eurovision[4] song "Love Me Back".[5] This product was shared extensively on social media due to its design that included a surprise element.

From 2018 until the 2020 pandemic bans, he worked as the creative director of the concert venue named NAYAH.[6] Since April 2021, He have been working as Senior Art Director at Salon Couture Books.[7]

Humorist career

In addition to his design career, he is also a conceptual comedy writer. He started publishing his writings when he created or built his brand "Geyik Adam". He wrote a comedy series called "Astar Mokor ve Miço" under "Geyik Adam". After a while, he started writing under "Pekila"[8].
