Gwalnada is a small village of 2179 hectares in Pachpadra Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gwalnada depends on JODHPUR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Gwalnada is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Gwalnada's pin code is 344026[4], and village code is 02155200. The area of Gwalnada is segregated as 2053.65 hectares unirrigated, the 65.83 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 59.59 hectare area not available for cultivation.
