Guwana is a small village of 434 hectares in Behror Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Guwana depends on BEHROR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Guwana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Guwana's pin code is 301713[4], and village code is 00763100. The area of Guwana is segregated as 151 hectares irrigated area, 268 hectares unirrigated, the 5 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 10 hectare area not available for cultivation.
