Guru Mahendra is an Indian actor, international fashion model and movie producer who works in Malayalam movie industry as actor and producer since 2007.
Early life and family
He was born in Kerala, India to Vidyadharan and Sudevi. He has two sisters. He completed his high school education from Government High School, Thonnakkal and joined in Government Sanskrit College, Trivandrum for pre-degree course. In 1992, He completed his Bachelor of Arts (Sanskrit-Nyaya) degree from the same college with Kerala University First Rank. He then joined in Government Law College, Trivandrum for Bachelor of Laws(LL.B) degree and completed the course in 1995. In 1996, he started to practice as a lawyer of Kerala High Courts as his late father's wish then become a Sanskrit Teacher in his native place.
Movie career
Guru Mahendra started his passion as an actor in various Malayalam short films, video album songs and in feature film Sketch (Malayalam, directed by Prasad Yadav). His role in Naranath Bhrantanas Vararuchiwas outstanding!
In 2007 Guru Mahendra produced a Malayalam short movie, Irmiah (ഇരമ്യാവ്) which was written directed by Prince Aedan. M R Gopakumar did the tile role-Irmiah in which Guru Mahendra handled dual roles as "semitheri Outha" and "Rajappan".
Modeling Career
In 2008, Guru Mahendra was started his 'travel and work' by exploring Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam where he met some similar minded people and started his fashion model career since 2014. He also participated in various TV shows with Vietnamese lead singers like Cam Ly and Nguyễn Đông Quân.
