Gurjaniya is a small village of 508 hectares in Rashmi Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gurjaniya depends on Kapasan, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 120.91% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Gurjaniya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gurjaniya's pin code is 312203[4], and village code is 03529200. The area of Gurjaniya is segregated as 138.91 hectares irrigated area, 147 hectares unirrigated, the 69 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 153 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kapasan and Chittorgarh to sell ghee and make their living.
