Gurha Hemadai is a small village of 1814 hectares in Jaitaran Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gurha Hemadai depends on Beawar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Gurha Hemadai is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gurha Hemadai's pin code is 306101[4], and village code is 02397500. The area of Gurha Hemadai is segregated as 142 hectares irrigated area, 469 hectares unirrigated, the 384 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 819 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Beawar and Pali to sell earthen pot and make their living.
