Gurad Khera is a small village of 708 hectares in Jhalrapatan Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gurad Khera depends on Jhalrapatan, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 22.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Gurad Khera is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gurad Khera's pin code is 326023[4], and village code is 04023200. The area of Gurad Khera is segregated as 122.54 hectares irrigated area, 51.33 hectares unirrigated, the 102.18 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 23.05 hectare area not available for cultivation.
