Gura Narkhan is a small village of 1155 hectares in Pali Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gura Narkhan depends on Pali, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 24.28% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Gura Narkhan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gura Narkhan's pin code is 306401[4], and village code is 02433100. The area of Gura Narkhan is segregated as 165.19 hectares irrigated area, 710.72 hectares unirrigated, the 53.18 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 226.09 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Pali to sell ghee and make their living.
