Gura Hema is a small village of 1683 hectares in Sanchore Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gura Hema depends on SANCHORE, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 195.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Gura Hema is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Gura Hema's pin code is 343040[4], and village code is 02319600. The area of Gura Hema is segregated as 195 hectares irrigated area, 1240 hectares unirrigated, the 115 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 133 hectare area not available for cultivation.
