Gumanpura is a small village of 362 hectares in Jayal Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gumanpura depends on Ladnu, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Gumanpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Gumanpura's pin code is 341023[4], and village code is 01789300. The area of Gumanpura is segregated as 281.33 hectares unirrigated, the 24.28 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 56.17 hectare area not available for cultivation.
