Guddi is a small village of 4707 hectares in Pokaran Tehsil in Jaisalmer district, nicknamed ""The Golden city"" in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Guddi depends on POKARAN, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Guddi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Guddi's pin code is 345021[4], and village code is 02055100. The area of Guddi is segregated as 1252 hectares unirrigated, the 1259 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 2196 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Guddi has One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Guddi has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Guddi is a census village in the district of Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 839 and has total administration over 158 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of POKARAN and Jaisalmer to sell ghee and make their living.
