Guda Kalan is a small village of 1928 hectares in Sojat Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Guda Kalan depends on Sojat, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Guda Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Guda Kalan's pin code is 306103[4], and village code is 02421200. The area of Guda Kalan is segregated as 212 hectares irrigated area, 253 hectares unirrigated, the 278 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 845 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sojat and Pali to sell ghee and make their living.
