Green Hill Jones (1842 - 1924) was a state legislator and Baptist minister in Arkansas.[1] He served in the Arkansas House of Representatives in 1885 and 1888.[2] Jones was born in Tennessee and was enslaved. He was enslaved on Kenneth Rayner's plantation in Chicot County, Arkansas. During the American Civil War he served in a "Colored" unit. He studied at Hillsdale College in Michigan from 1870 until 1873.
