Namuwulya Grace professionally known as Grace Khan is a Ugandan singer, songwriter and a dancer (born 22 November 1997). She is known for her love songs and epic stage performances.[1]

Early life and education

Grace Khan was born from Masaka where she also pursued her elementary education and higher education levels. Grace had passion of music and being a great musician. A little girl who came from a poor family started her career from a local church choir where she sung as a lead vocalist. Grace always admired artists like Juliana Kanyomozi and wished to at one time be at her level musically.[2]

Career

Grace Khan's journey in the music industry commenced during her high school years. As part of her musical development, she became a member of one of Uganda's renowned music band the New Eagles, using this opportunity to refine her vocal abilities as a backup musician.[3]

In 2022, Grace Khan joined the management of the notable herbalist Koja Kitonsa from Bakitonsa Herbal and Research Center. This establishment primarily focuses on matters related to relationships and marriage.[4] While there were speculations about a personal relationship between Grace Khan and Koja Kitonsa, both parties vehemently denied any romantic involvement. They clarified that their association is strictly professional.[5][6]

In 2025, Grace Khan was signed under Thadius Management. Grace did not last three weeks working with the new management and she terminated the contract claiming the terms and conditions in the contract do not favor her as an artist.[7] Grace Khan rose to fame with her single known as Nenonya followed by many others like Njakufa naye which gave her fame in central Uganda.

In 2024, Grace Khan was taken to a rehabilitation center due to the depressions and alcohol addiction that she passed through after being dumped by lover Prince Omar.[8][9][10][11][12] After leaving the rehabilitation center, Grace was called out to Makula Bujingo whois a wife to pastor Bujingo and they promised to stand with her as her new parents and support her career.[13]

Discography

Grace Khan has not yet released any music albums despite the fact that she has got singles out on her music catalog. Grace has released different famous singles like wakyuuka, nenoonya, darling, nja kufa naye and many others. Grace Khan has made only one concert that took place on the 19 of May 2024 at Climax lounge in Makindye.[14]
