Grażyna Szpor is an Polish lawyer, professor of social sciences, academic teacher at Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw, where she holds the office of Char of the Department of Informatics Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration[1]. She specializes in administrative law.
Biography
In 1979, on the basis of a dissertation entitled "Social policy in fundamental industries in 1944-1949", she received a doctoral degree in humanities from the Silesian Scientific Institute in Katowice. In 1999, on the basis of scientific achievements and a dissertation entitled "Information in spatial development. Administrative and legal issues" received at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Lodz the degree of habilitated doctor of legal sciences in the field of law, specialization: administrative law. She became an extraordinary professor at the Faculty of Law and Administration at Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University and the Faculty of Finance and Insurance at the University of Economics in Katowice. She was also an academic teacher at other universities. She assumed the position of head of the Department of Information Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration of Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University[2].
In 2013, she received the Mark Car Award[3]. In 2014, she was awarded the Info Star Prize in the category of Information Technology Promotion for "her long-term work as an academic in the field of legal foundations for information systems, inspiration and leadership of scientific interest circles of students and doctoral students at the interface of information technology and law, support of public administration in the field of lawmaking concerning information technology."[4]
On November 28, 2019, she received from the hands of President Andrzej Duda an act conferring the title of professor of social sciences[5].
