Gowari is a small village of 716 hectares in Sagwara Tehsil in Dungarpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gowari depends on Sagwara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 55.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Gowari is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gowari's pin code is 314025[4], and village code is 03342600. The area of Gowari is segregated as 105 hectares irrigated area, 524 hectares unirrigated, the 87 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sagwara and Dungarpur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
