Govindpura is a small village of 1318 hectares in Neem-Ka-Thana Tehsil in Sikar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Govindpura depends on Khandela, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 593.94% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Govindpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Govindpura's pin code is 332714[4], and village code is 01728900. The area of Govindpura is segregated as 593.94 hectares irrigated area, 512.99 hectares unirrigated, the 132.8 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 78.53 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Khandela and Sikar to sell ghee and make their living.
