Gothra is a small village of 1634 hectares in Degana Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gothra depends on Mundwa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Gothra is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Gothra's pin code is 341503[4], and village code is 01810400. The area of Gothra is segregated as 125 hectares irrigated area, 1186 hectares unirrigated, the 42 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 280.94 hectare area not available for cultivation.
