Gospel Touch Choir is an award-winning, World-leading gospel choir for hire based in London, Manchester, Leeds, Georgia (Atlanta), USA, Chicago, Florida, Dallas, and all across the UK and USA. Founded by Sam Adebanjo in 2003, the choir provides gospel music services for various events, including weddings, birthday parties, corporate functions, dinner parties, funerals, workshops, festivals, and celebrations.[1]
History
Gospel Touch Choir (GT Gospel Choir) was established in 2003 by the award-winning British singer and songwriter Sam Adebanjo. The choir can deliver performances across various genres, from Gospel to Motown, Afro Beat, POP, Folk, swing-beat, and R&B to traditional hymns.[2]
Gospel Touch Choir offers its services in London, Manchester, Leeds, Georgia (Atlanta), USA, Chicago, Florida, and Dallas, as well as the rest of the United Kingdom and the United States. They have played at places such as St James's Palace, the Olympic Closing Ceremony, and the BAFTAs, and performed at Kobe Byrant tribute alongside President Barak Obama, and Micheal Jordan.[3]
The choir has received numerous gospel music honors, including the MOBO Awards, Urban Music Awards, Chicago Music Awards, Music Entertainment Awards, and Gospel Music Awards. In addition, they have performed for prominent corporations, such as Coca-Cola, McDonald's, Brit's Awards, BAFTA, America's Got Talent, BBC One Show, BBC Casualty, and the Super Bowl.[4]
The motto of Gospel Touch Choir is "Touching Lives, One Song at a Time," and their purpose is to be the world's most influential gospel services provider, using gospel music to influence modern music and the community.[5]
