Gordhanpura is a small village of 409 hectares in Hindoli Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gordhanpura depends on BUNDI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 2.01% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Gordhanpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gordhanpura's pin code is 323025[3], and village code is 02701300. The area of Gordhanpura is segregated as 88.03 hectares irrigated area, 73.01 hectares unirrigated, the 54.02 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 27.01 hectare area not available for cultivation.
