Gordhanpura is a small village of 757 hectares in Chaksu Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gordhanpura depends on Kotputli, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 358.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Gordhanpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gordhanpura's pin code is 303903[4], and village code is 01456600. The area of Gordhanpura is segregated as 568 hectares irrigated area, 149 hectares unirrigated, remaining 40 hectare area not available for cultivation.
