Goran Čelar (born July 17, 1973 in Zemun, Serbia, Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia) is a former professional football player and current football agent.

At the end of his professional sports career, with the acquired experience and knowledge, Goran Celar became an agent for young and talented players - especially known for his good contacts in Romania, Turkey, Italy, Spain and Belgium.

Career

Goran Čelar started playing football at FK Zemun (Yugoslav First League) in Zemun. He becomes the team's top scorer, after which he makes a big step in his career and joins the ranks of Turkish giants Bursaspor. The next step after Turkey for Goran was a club that competes in the Segunda División.

Goran played for Gimnàstic de Tarragona from 2001 to 2003.

Football agent

Goran is currently working with young talents in Serbia. In his career, Goran worked mostly with the Lemic brothers (Vlado Lemić and Zoran Lemic), and is also known for his close cooperation with Serbian agent Rade Caldovic.

Sport director

Goran Celar performed the function of Sports Director in FK Zemun during the period 2018–2019.

Private life

Goran is the son of former football player Dušan Čelar, later one of the most successful presidents of the FK Zemun football club. After his football career, Goran continued to live in Marbella (Spain) and became the owner of one of the most luxurious restaurants in the center of Marbella.

Goran has a brother, Dejan Celar, a football coach.
