Gopalpuriya is a small village of 975 hectares in Ratangarh Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gopalpuriya depends on RATANGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Gopalpuriya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Gopalpuriya's pin code is 331022[4], and village code is 00644800. The area of Gopalpuriya is segregated as 955.21 hectares unirrigated, the 2.04 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 17.69 hectare area not available for cultivation.
