Gopalpura is a small village of 267 hectares in Lalsot Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gopalpura depends on Lalsot, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 5.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Gopalpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gopalpura's pin code is 303503[4], and village code is 01417500. The area of Gopalpura is segregated as 180.5 hectares irrigated area, 6 hectares unirrigated, the 67 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 13.02 hectare area not available for cultivation.
