Gopal Nagar is a small village of 1578 hectares in Bairia Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gopal Nagar depends on Reoti (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. The area of Gopal Nagar is segregated as 1577.8 hectares irrigated area, 455.74 hectares unirrigated area. the 11.03 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 19.06 hectare area not available for cultivation.
