Goonti is a small village of 618 hectares in Behror Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Goonti depends on BEHROR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, which is 100.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Goonti is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Goonti's pin code is 301701[4], and village code is 00770400. The area of Goonti is segregated as 124 hectares irrigated area, 373 hectares unirrigated, the 49 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 72 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BEHROR and Alwar to sell leather shoes and make their living.
