Gokulpura is a small village of 165 hectares in Jhalrapatan Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gokulpura depends on Jhalawar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Gokulpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gokulpura's pin code is 326001[4], and village code is 03999000. The area of Gokulpura is segregated as 18.52 hectares irrigated area, 22.84 hectares unirrigated, the 39.56 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 11.4 hectare area not available for cultivation.
