Gokalpura is a small village of 330 hectares in Mandal Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gokalpura depends on Bhilwara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Gokalpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gokalpura's pin code is 311403[4], and village code is 02846200. The area of Gokalpura is segregated as 10 hectares irrigated area, 56 hectares unirrigated, the 124 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 140.08 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bhilwara to sell furniture and make their living.
