Godawas is a small village of 2101 hectares in Pali Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Godawas depends on Bali, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Godawas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Godawas's pin code is 306401[4], and village code is 02437400. The area of Godawas is segregated as 156 hectares irrigated area, 1568 hectares unirrigated, the 123 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 254 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bali and Pali to sell ghee and make their living.
