Goalim Moula is a small village of 320 hectares in Tiswadi Tehsil in North Goa district, known and rated to have the best quality of life in India (based on the commission’s “12 Indicators”)[2] in the state of Goa, India.[3] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Goalim Moula depends on GOA VELHA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[4] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Goalim Moula is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Goalim Moula's pin code is 403107[5], and village code is 00007500. The area of Goalim Moula is segregated as 5.56 hectares irrigated area, 172.42 hectares unirrigated, the 8.41 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 133.39 hectare area not available for cultivation.
