Gloria Hardy (Persian: گلوریا هاردی; born 13 January 1982) is a French–Iranian actress and model. She became widely known in Iran after her role in the popular television drama Kimia (2015), where she played the character Helen, a French–Iranian woman. Hardy is regarded as one of the most recognized French–Iranian actresses working in Iranian television and cinema.[1]
Early life
Hardy was born in Bordeaux, France, to a French father and an Iranian mother. She later pursued a career in acting and modeling, dividing her time between France and Iran.[2]
Career
Hardy’s breakthrough came with the Iranian television series Kimia in 2015, directed by Javad Afshar. Her performance as Helen, a French–Iranian character, gained widespread media attention in Iran.[3] She later appeared in the feature film Filicide (2020) and the TV series Soldier (2020).[4] She has also attended film festivals, including the screening of The Dark Room in Vietnam.[5]
Personal life
Hardy is married to Iranian actor Saed Soheili, with whom she has one child.[6]
