Glenn Hopper (born 08 May 1972) is an American author,[1] and financial technology expert,[2] and filmmaker.[citation needed] He is the former CFO of Sandline Global[3] and current CFO of Eventus Advisory Group.[4][5]
Career
Hopper began his career in 1995 as an editor, journalist, and public affairs specialist in the United States Navy. He worked in telecommunications in the early 2000s as a product manager and later as a finance leader. He then he started his CFO career by joining HCT Investments. In the same year, he produced and wrote Neil H. Weiss’s directed thriller film The Hanged Man (2007).
Hopper is a data science evangelist who has written on business intelligence and analytics. In 2015, Hopper co-founded Rabble.tv, a community-driven social audio platform that allows users to broadcast, discuss their insights and opinions relating to sports and television shows.
As of 2021, Hopper was the CFO of Sandline Global. He is currently director/CFO at Eventus Advisory Group,[6] where he has developed an FP&A tool using ChatGPT.[citation needed]
In May 2023, Hopper was part of a virtual event panel discussion on Generative AI in Finance at Harvard Digital, Data, and Design Institute.[7]
