Girwar is a small village of 1665 hectares in Pali Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Girwar depends on Pali, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 16.94% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Girwar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Girwar's pin code is 306602[4], and village code is 02438500. The area of Girwar is segregated as 16.94 hectares irrigated area, 1184 hectares unirrigated, the 184.45 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 279.37 hectare area not available for cultivation.
