Girdharipura is a small village of 265 hectares in Bassi Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Girdharipura depends on Bagru, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 148.63% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Girdharipura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Girdharipura's pin code is 303012[4], and village code is 01519600. The area of Girdharipura is segregated as 152.42 hectares irrigated area, 32.54 hectares unirrigated, the 74.3 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 5.73 hectare area not available for cultivation.
